This series is based upon a concept of an adult leading a child to safety through a post apocalyptic/war struck environment. I was looking to create the feeling through images of the lost history, the fear and darkness of the circumstances and the child's innocence, I feel this is best felt in the top image where I have used the tunnel walls, the lighting and the existing wall art to create a daytime landscape within the darkened tunnel. I used the light to create a light shape upon the tunnels of angel wings, a sign of the adults positive intentions and guardian angel status. The child is not present in the images as we see from their point of view, through the breathing mask and lower viewpoint.
